The Limeston Heritage is an interesting attraction located in the traditional Maltese village of Siggiewi. This structure celebrates the Maltese islands' distinct stone and its history dating back over 22 million years. The golden limestone is one of the island’s greatest natural resources. Most of the buildings are constructed from, for that it is possibile to cherish immediatly the honey colour of the towns around the island. Not only the towns were built with this particular limeston but also the important ancients Maltese Megalithic temples, as well as the elegant cities of Mdina, the first capital of Malta, and the current capital of Valletta. The Limeston Heritage has been conceptualized and founded by Manuel Baldacchino and his family, they have built the structure within a disused quarry, so the enviroment is board and the attractions are ideal for all the family. At Limestone Heritage you can partecipate to the Folklore Nights, or you can organize functions and weedings. Moreover there are a lot of activities such as Pony Rides, Family Fun days, Archery, Abseiling, Farmer’s Lunch, Olive Tasting, Limoncello Making, Stone Carving and Sculpturing.
