The Cathedral Museum is on the east side of the church and its entrance is from triq il-fosos, a few metres from the Cathedral’s north door. The Museum, inaugurated on 21 October 1979, consists of three delightfully decorated halls: the Picture Gallery in the upper hall, the Silver vault in the lower hall, and a varied collection of items in the main hall. From the picture gallery, 150 metres (490 feet) above sea level, there is a good view of the island of Gozo and beyond.
